Technical Specification

SPITMAAN®BPT 300 is structured / modified PTFE filled with Barium Sulphate manufactured by a special process which induces resistance to creep due to cold flow.

Suitable for 

SPITMAAN®BPT 300 is structured / modified PTFE gasket sheet is suitable for practically all applications in process industries within the recommended temperature and pressure range.

  1. For applications outside the typical use range, SPITMAAN® recommends engineering design calculation to specific application and extra care to be taken during installation. Uniform torquing during installation using ASME recommended methodology is mandatory. Retorquing after a thermal cycle should be done after cooling down of equipment is recommended. Please contact SPITMAAN® if further guidance is required.
