Description
Non-Asbestos dry plaited general steam and insulation packing for hot gases, oven, autoclaves etc. conforming to IS Specn. 4687 / 1968 / 1980 and DGS & D Specifications.
Advantages
• Strong structural yarn suits dynamic and static equipment at high speed and pressures.
• Effectively prevent fugitive’s emissions.
• Special PTFE covering technique ensures low friction and resists deformation in service.
Service
This packing is strongly recommended for Oxygen service, centrifugal shafts, mixers and agitators. A special packing for ammonia charge pumps, carbomate recycle pumps etc, involving high pressure application, acids and alkalies of any concentration. Not recommended to use on molten alkail metals and elemental fluorine
